On November 13th, SFH Supplier Conference, themed " STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE, PARTNER FOR SUCCESS ", was held in Chongqing. The conference was attended by Mr Giovanni Violano, SFH General Manager, Mr Lv Wei, SFH Vice General Manager, Ms Angela Qu, Supply Chain Executive Officer of Iveco Group, Mr Marco Rossotto, Asia Pacific Technology Director and SFH R&D Director, Mr Paolo Bazzoni, Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, and representatives of supplier partners from both domestic and foreign countries. The meeting was chaired by Mr Jeffrey Lv, SFH Purchase Director.

At the meeting, Mr Giovanni Violano, SFH General Manager, expressed a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the representatives of the partners. He analyzed the current pattern of the commercial vehicle market and presented SFH's strategic layout for 2024. SFH will continue to deeply cultivate the commercial vehicle power market, meet new demands based on new regulations, and provide customers with new power solutions according to market requirements, creating greater value for customers with higher technology and better quality.

Ms Angela Qu, the supply chain executive of Iveco Group, delivered a speech too. She introduced Iveco Group's global business layout and development strategy, and emphasized the necessity of close cooperation and development with suppliers. She also announced the launch of a global purchasing project, which has identified potential purchasing needs for 58 categories. She also shared that Iveco Group plans to establish a purchasing center in China next year to effectively promote the implementation of the project. She stated that Iveco Group will work together with various suppliers to explore a broader market.

Mr Marco Rossotto, FPT Asia Pacific Technology Director and SFH R&D Director, shared the technological innovation and development trends of FPT from a technical perspective. He detailed the latest technological research and development achievements of FPT, as well as future plans for product design and global layout. Marco Rossotto emphasized that FPT will continue to expand and improve its diesel product line in the combustion engine market to meet the needs of new customers, and will also focus on the new energy market, establish the mission of providing zero emission solutions, promote electric drive axle products (eAxle), and complement battery solutions and software management. SFH will continue to rely on FPT’s leading technology to provide customers with more advanced and reliable products.

The specially invited guest of this conference, Paolo Bazzoni, Chairman of the China Italy Chamber of Commerce, also delivered a speech. He agreed with the subsequent strategic deployment of Iveco Group and SFH, and will continue to provide necessary support for Italian enterprises in China like SFH. With the influence of the Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Consulate, he will coordinate government resources to fuel the operation and development of various enterprises in China, creating a better business environment, to realize a win-win situation.

Mr Gao Xuening, SFH Quality and Project Director, delivered speeches on the quality policy of SFH products, the quality control of GBVI products, the 2023 after-sales quality performance, and the 2024 quality work plan, and Mr Yang Hua, SFH Production Director, deliver a speech about the improvement of production and logistics efficiency.

They stated that SFH has built a comprehensive quality management system that covers four key processes, including product development, supplier incoming materials, manufacturing process, and after-sales service, Realized the full lifecycle quality management of products from development to launch.

SFH hopes to fully leverage the ability of suppliers, strengthen their awareness of independent innovation and quality improvement, reduce costs and increase efficiency, and achieve a win-win situation. And by strengthening information sharing with suppliers, focusing on new technologies, new materials, and new processes, to comprehensively improve the performance and quality performance of engines. We also welcome suppliers to offer suggestions to achieve a win-win situation.

Mr Jeffrey Lv, SFH Purchasing director, gave a speech on purcahsing review and supply chain outlook. The report revolved around the new changes in SFH's supply chain, introduced future sales forecasts, detailed display and analysis of SFH's supply chain layout, and emphasized the localization promotion plan based on supply chain security. He also gave a special introduction to the new ATS businesses this year and the progress of new product development, aiming to regain growth through diversified products and establish the confidence of SFH’s future development, In addition, Mr Lv Yaping also raised expectations for the future delivery, production capacity, and cost reduction of suppliers, as well as management requirements for continuous improvement, rapid response, and proactive prevention in terms of supplier quality.
